Painting a Bottle of Wine - Halloween edition
This adorable creation is ideal for gift-giving during the Halloween season. October is a wonderful time for hosting girls' parties and gatherings. Picture yourself arriving at your girls' get-together with a hand-painted wine bottle featuring a charming spooky phrase and cute doodles of witches and spiders!
Here i show you how to do it. I have included tools, a lettering guide for the slogan ‘Ghouls just wanna have fun’ and a doodle sheet for cute Halloween icon ideas you can use. To really get to grips with the lettering I recommend my book below. The templates are just for inspiration and something to follow. If you would like to master the lettering please get in touch or take a look at the guides.
Equipment
Acrylic Paint (I have used pinks for the pumpkins and bows) applied with a very small paintbrush
Paint Pens - A white 1mm for the lettering, White 3mm for the ghosts and a black 1mm for the bats and webs.

Finishing it up
If you want to varnish your bottle, you can. You will need some masking tape to cover the labels and long neck. I use a spray varnish but you can use any that are suitable for glass and paint. Be mindful this is a consumable item, therefore i would recommend drinking the wine first and varnishing it afterwards just in case.
Any questions you can DM me on socials or email clair@thechalkspot.com - Good luck :)
