Blog Takeover - Louise Spinney
Hi!
My name is Louise, and today I am taking over The Chalk Spot's blog! It's ok- Clair is a very dear friend of mine, so she has let me!
Next month I will be running the Virgin Money London Marathon, to raise funds for the Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice. This amazing place looked after my beautiful mum before she died in March 2007. We didn't have to pay a penny for this, and the facilities and care she was given are second to none.
The hospice costs approximately £20,000 a day to run and they rely massively on donations. They have to raise £4m every year!
The lovely Clair has so kindly made these beautiful Mother's Day cards, where some of the proceeds will be going to the hospice. The beauty in these cards is that they don't just have to be for Mother's Day- you can give them to any special lady in your life. I'd give one to Clair if she hadn't made them herself!!
